The Hour Returns to BBC America

The Hour is returning to BBC America Wednesday, November 28th. The show is set in 1957 and continues to follow the lives of the news crew through espionage, emotional entanglements, and office politics. The cast has some exciting new additions, including Oona Chaplin..

If you missed the first season you can catch it on On Demand, if your cable provider has that, otherwise it is available on DVD and online. It really is a fascinating show! Pip pip cheerio and 2 yank thumbs up.

The Hour Returns November to BBC America

Very excited to say The Hour is coming back to BBC America this November. I don't have an exact date just yet, but the end is near.

I got to see a trailer here at The BBC America press tour and the show will resume 10 months later. Hector will be up to some wild philandering, Freddie is sporting a slightly more masculine look, and by Romola Garai own admission Bel is screaming at both of them all the time.

I really love this show, and highly recommend getting your hands on the first season if you haven't already.

BBC America Reairs The Hour

BBC America is reairing The Hour on Wednesday nights. I loved this series.

They announced there will be a second season sometime in 2012. If you haven't seen the first you better get on it, you'll want to be all caught up when the new season begins.

The Hour on BBC America

I just found out about The Hour on BBC America. It's a great show set in 1956 TV news. It stars Dominic West, Romola Garai, and Ben Wishaw. I really love it and I've only seen 2 episodes. Episode 3 is airing this Wednesday, but you can get all caught up if you have On Demand. Unfortunately, this is a British series and they only make 6 episodes a season! I know...It makes me grateful for the paltry 12 episodes we get of our cable series. Darn English reserve...
Anyway, I highly recommend you check this one out, even if it is going to make you crazy when you have to wait for the next season after only six installments.
