Antiques Roadshow returns to PBS

So excited the 17th season of Antique Roadshow returns to PBS Monday, January 7th in Corpus Christi Texas. If you are a dumpster diving, yard saling addict like myself you love this show. Here's a little spoiler: There is going to be a $1,000,000 find in the first episode!!!

Also if you are interested in attending a roadshow the 18th season summer tour is going to be announced at noon on Monday, January 7th on their facebook page. I went once, years ago, and it really is an amazing day. In the past the tickets were given by lottery so get as many people as you can to apply and cross your fingers.

If you do get picked I recommend comfortable shoes.

UPDATE; You can now apply for tickets to the Season 18 Antiques Roadshow.

PBS' Antique Roadshow Tickets

Just one week to apply for tickets to PBS' Antique Roadshow. I went several years ago and it really is an amazing experience. Even if you find your treasures are only treasures to you , you will have an amazing time. The most fun is hearing the stories of your items and talking to all the other attendees in what will be long lines for the appraisers.

If you can find multiple people to apply for tickets to increase your odd of getting drawn.

Here are the cities and dates Roadshow will be coming to this summer

Boston, MA June 9
Myrtle Beach, SC June 23
Rapid City, SD July 14
Cincinnati, OH July 21
Corpus Christi, TX August 4
Seattle, WA August 18

You must get your application in by April 16th.

Sadly, none of them are near me, or I would be there. Maybe next year.

Antique Roadshow Keno Twins New Show

PBS' Antique Roadshow Keno Twins have a new show starting tonight on Fox called Buried Treasure. If you love Antique Roadshow as much as I do, you're jumping up and down right now. Still I hope this doesn't mean they'll be leaving PBS.
For now you can see them Wednesday nights at 8pm on FOX and of course on your local PBS station. Set your DVR's!
