Yahoo! Motherboard

Last week I was whisked away, by The Yahoo! Motherboard for a lovely trip to Palo Alto, or more specifically Sunnyvale where Yahoo's offices are. I was joined by about 50 of my fellow Yahoo! Motherboard members and we were wined and dined at the Four Seasons Hotel, and the lovely and delicious NOLA restaurant in Palo Alto.

All of that was great, but equally great was our full day summit with Yahoo's various departments. My favorites were Yahoo's You In? Program, which you may remember I participated in last December, by paying people's postage at the post office. I also really like their Yahoo Green program, where you can get great info on all things, you guessed it, GREEN.

There was so much to enjoy about the trip. But my most favorite part of any blogger convention/summit is meeting all the amazing bloggers. You can link to all their sites at The Yahoo! Motherboard site.

I do have one major complaint, and that is that the trip really did in my cleanse. It's taken me most of this week to get it back on track. But I guess that is more my lack of self control than Yahoo's fault. So their back in my good graces.

It was great meeting you IRL. I'm not going to BlogHer, either, but Mom2.0 in NOLA is looking like a possibility.

Sorry about the cleanse...you can only imagine what it's like working at Yahoo!...definitely never a shortage of tasty food. So glad you could join us!

So glad you mentioned the You In? program - which I left out of my own post. (It really was such a full program! So hard to summarize it all in one post.)

I'm doing BlogHer and won't have the funds for Mom 2.0... so maybe we'll do something really novel and run into each other HERE in L.A.!
